usedJeepLiberty

The Jeep Liberty, or Jeep Cherokee is a product of the Jeep Marque of Chrysler. Until 2007, it was the smallest four-door Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) in the market. It is considered as a descendant of the famous Cherokee. It was engineered to track off road despite its traditional sports-utility design. But it was also designed for better riding and handling on the road. Seating is also very comfortable with the extra space and room for passengers. This is the reason why a used Jeep Liberty is in demand as much as the brand new models.
The Jeep Liberty was first introduced in 2002 as inspired by the styling from the Dakar and Jeepster. It was then introduced by Dodge in the 2002 Detroit Show. On 2005, it was named as the SUV of the year in the United States.  It was intended as a replacement for the old Cherokee model. It was initially offered in three trim levels: the top end Limited, the more rugged Renegade and the base Sport. All were offered in two-wheel and four-wheel drive. In 2007, the Latitude was introduced to replace the Renegade. The Latitude was given a more urban appeal for the modern day adventurer. It was powered by either of the new PowerTech engines: the 150 hp 2.4 L straight-4 and the 210 hp 3.7 L V6 engines.
